While still enjoying the cool fall days and beautiful colors, I'm settling in into winter planning mode. During the winter months, I'll begin planning next season in detail and one of the first steps to that process is signing up for Spring plant catalogs. I generally send away for several catalogs annually that focus on seeds, bulbs, and live plants. While many companies do offer online catalogs, I find it's a bit easier to review and mark selections with a paper copy.

Most of these companies will allow you to order well before planting time (to secure rare or hard to get plants) and then they'll ship to you just in time for planting (per your planting zone.)
